767 Normal Checklist?

Featured Replies

Does anyone know where I can get or download the normal procedure checklist that American Airlines uses for the 767-300ER? I like to fly the 767 with real world checklist that airliners use. Thank You. :-wave

Thanks that one looks good but its really long :-doh are the real ones this long?? Is there one out there probably for another major airline? Perhaps a 757/767 pilot can help here. ;)

The real ones are one A4 page and are relatively short. The ones you have downloaded look more like procedures, not checklists.

Well ... page 21 of the 767 PIC Normal Checklists file on the CD is a one-page summary. In fact, the answers to your questions are all on the 767 PIC CD.

Hi I have seen the ones on the PIC CD but there are items missing that are airline specific. This checklist can't be any airlines checklist because it was simplified for PIC. :-hmmm

In what way is it simplified?Martin767 fetishistIt's a lot like life and that's what's appealing

That's a great question since the 767 PIC checklists has a number of tems that are not simulated. These items are marked with an asterisk; so I'd love to know what else could be missing.

I think its missing some items. During a cockpit visit 2 years ago for an AA 767 there was a delay in departure so they let me stay a bit. I seen them run the Before start checklist and the first item on the checklist that they called was

But the Checklist for PIC is based on the AA checklist for the 767, and has been modified for use in FlightSim. How do I know this:Simple - Eric Ernst one of the developers flies AA 757 & 767 for a living.Hope this helpsMark

Yes that is certainly true he does fly AA 757/767 aircraft. I just wonder why the whole checklist was not put in just like they have it at AA. If you want to be realistic why modify the checklist? Even if there are limits in FS I think it would be great to have all the checklist items called out just like they do. :-)

Probably for proprietary reasons.Cannot be seen to be including an actual AA checklist in the product, also this would then need to be cleared probably by director of flight ops.Mark

OK, here you go. This is what's in my AOM, but I think it's tailored for a specific airline. I've just edited it so it fits nicely in text format.PREFLIGHTOXYGEN - SETPASSENGER SIGNS - SETFLIGHT INSTRUMENTS - SETPARKING BRAKE - SETFUEL CONTROL SWITCHES - CUT OFFBEFORE STARTCOCKPIT WINDOW - LOCKEDMCP - SETAIRSPEED BUGS - SETCDU - SETTRIM - ____ UNITS, ZERO, ZEROFLIGHT CONTROLS - CHECKEDAFTER STARTENGINE ANTI

Martin, you do know that checklist is nonsense. It doesn't say "Fuel quantity _______ checked." :-lol

I was hoping I wouldn't have to say this, but in its original form it actually says "SPEEDBRAKE LEVE", "PACK SWITCHE" and "EMERGENCY LIGHTS SWITC".That's Boeing spelling for ya!Martin767 fetishistIt's a lot like life and that's what's appealing
