September 8, 200223 yr Hi PIC team, Are you working about the stucking elevator problemafter the PIC patch. We cannot fly the PIC after this patch.BTW I have the MCP from Aerosoft.Regards,Frans
September 8, 200223 yr What do you mean by "stucking". Is it sort of jerky (spikey) or completely stuck (frozen) elevators, mofa
September 8, 200223 yr Sometimes spikey and sometime frozen (up ).I have try reinstall PIC but the problem stay's.This is a big problem. We (see other mails ) can not fly the PIC. :-(Regards,Frans
September 8, 200223 yr I had the same problem and this was following the installation of the MCP PIC patch.I did the following which has really solved almost 95% of the problem.1- I installed the FSUIPC 2.87 in FS2002 modules subfolder, you will find it in the Aerosoft MCP 747 folder in program files.2- then I caliberated the controls through the FSUIPC after starting FS2002 to get the center of each control3- finally I opened the FSUIPC.ini file in the module folder in FS 2002 directory and changed the min. and max. values in [JoystickCalibration] section as follows:Rudder=-16384,x,x,16384Aileron=-16384,x,x,16384Elevator=-16384,x,x,16384where x is the value that you will find in the ini file. It should be kept as it is to keep the controls centered. What I found was that if I caliberated the controls through the FSUIPC FS2002 the minimum and maximum values were -16383 and 16383 respectively. When the control in the flight sim reaches the min. or max. value they started to get jerky. So I put a min. and a max. value that is above the real value by only one (by the way these are the max. and min. values that the ini will accept) and in this way the controls never reach their limit and hence never get jerky or stuck. This actually did the trick at least for me and I almost get no problem. I hope this will help you, mofa
September 9, 200223 yr Thanks for the info. But it will not solve the problem.I'm waiting for an answer from the PIC team???Regards Frans
