No question is dumb...AFCAD files are not scenery addons, they will not change the appearance of the airports and the scenery suroundings. with afcad you can customise the way AI Aircraft use the airports, the taxiways, open more parking spaces for the planes, making multiple runway operational, etc..Just DL the AFCAD utility, it comes with a very detailed manual, just for begginers like me, it explains every aspect step by step. You will need it anyway if you want to put some of these files in your FS2002.
