Stupid newbie question No.1, Is there any way to input a route in the FMC using airways and waypoints i.e. ELB/UA1/BRY etc. or do I have to enter all the waypoints on the route manually.Stupid newbie question No.2, Is ther a manual that deals with the FMC,I don't see it on the C.D.

Hi,1) Yes you can input airways in the FMC using the Routes Page rather than the legs page.2) Yes, there is a manual for the FMC that is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED READING. The FMC is quite complex, and I suggest you print it out and get it bound. I keep mine right here in my cockpit and have had to refer to it many many many times. You can find it (and other good downloads here --> http://www.wilcopub.com/Download.htm3) People here all want to help you, but we hope that you will at least give the manuals a few reads. There is also a search feature that works very well on this forum.
