October 1, 200223 yr I think I remember seeing a post about this before, but with Lee's excellent merge, for some reason autoland has the aircraft drop it's nose before the wheels touch the ground. Is there some sort of contact-point edit I need to make to correct this problem. Of course, the default PIC767's I have no problems with. Thanks!Sincerely,Phil Geddes

October 3, 200223 yr I was about to post something on this. My aircraft nose also goes down during autoland but what intrigues me more is, as soon as I turn off the autopilots, if i try to lift the nose it goes up and up and up till a stall condition. Anyone ever had this problem?
October 3, 200223 yr Your trim is prolly set incorrectly for a non autoland approach. So be careful disconnecting your AP too late and stalling out on short final. Be ready to fix your trim when disconnecting the AP.
October 3, 200223 yr I always find the trim correctly set by the AP. The AP is basically adjusting trim constantly.Lee Hetherington (KBOS)
October 4, 200223 yr Good point, never thought of the about the trim... but can it put my aircraft almost in a 90
