October 5, 200223 yr I did a short flight from VHHH to Kaitak and so i only put 10% fuel in the two outboard tanks and 0 in the centre tank. all was going well until i saw the fuel config. message and then when I tried to bank it simply wouldn't let me . can some one explain if this is a problem with my aircraft or is this a safety feature on the 767?
October 5, 200223 yr Normally the FUEL CONFIG message means that there is a fuel imbalance between the left and right tanks. For some unknown reason this happens in PIC after a few hours of flying.If fuel imbalance has occurred without indications of a fuelleak:CROSSFEED SWITCH . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
