Landing View and 'problems' (?)

Featured Replies

Hi there,I tried the landing view of Phil and it's really a very good enhancement to the PIC experience.I just noticed some irregularities though. So I'm posting because maybe someone may have an idea how to correct them. I didn't notice those before because I did all my flights during daytime until tonight.Tonight I did a night flight, and have noticed that the landing lights are not visible from the landing/vfr view. I'm using the PIC/POSKY V3 763 merge and the lights are visible from within the normal cockpit view but not from the vfr/landing view. Any ideas ?Also, when I'm on A/P approach and I change to the vfr view I notice on the FMAs that the modes have been re-engaged. Like the autopilot has been disengaged and re-engaged again. One more thing (I may be wrong, it was a bit windy), is that it seems that the vfr view has both auto-coord and yaw dumper on by default.Although I have switched both off during approach, on the flare when I put in some rudder to allign the nose to the rwy, the a/c also rolled, while normally it doesn't do that. I was flying the a/c manually through the entire approach. Could this be?Anyone noticed the same ?Oh, and for those that think that the view is too low, I have tried changing the 18 on the rear_dir and up_dir to 12 and works great for me! Gives me a more realistic view (for my personal taste).Thank you for your help.George DorkofikisAthens, Greece
