RJBB missing from ROUTE database ?

Featured Replies

Suppose to deliver an fresh 763 from KBFI to ANA in Osaka, they would prefer delivery at Kansai, since they have better facilities there. However, RJBB does not exist in PICFMC ? Oh well used Osaka after all, but someone know if this will be added ?Further more, how reliable are the SID/STARS from FSNavigator ? They seem to have frequent updates for them.

RJBB (Kansai) IS in the database - perhaps you do not have the latest one.Try downloading AIRAC-0211(from airports.dat)RJBB 34.427306 135.244072(from wpNavAPT.txt)Kansai Intl RJBB06 11483057 34.417378 135.229278108.1005700026Kansai Intl RJBB24 11483237 34.437233 135.258867110.7023700026Download it here --> http://www.navdata.atRegarding FSNAV SIDS/STARS - I personally did not find them very useful when compared to having a chart handy. Of course the FSNAV info is obsolete when using the PIC.Good luck!Ian Elchitz CYWG

Where could I get these charts, also I'd like appraoch plates for accurate elevation ILS/Glidescope interception, seems to vary from around 3500 to 2400 feet.....KSAN I never seem low enough to intercept the ILS Rwy 9, I like to hand fly sometimes (challenging as heck, in bad weather) but the fun is watching the appraoch of the 767......

>Where could I get these charts, As I said in the post, you need to update your AIRAC database here --> http://www.navdata.at>also I'd like appraoch >plates for accurate elevation You can get all the approach plates you can handle for the USA here --> http://edj.net/cgi-bin/echoplate.pl>KSAN I never seem low enough to intercept the ILS Rwy 9,Since you come in over the water - feel free to get nice and low on that approach if I recall correctly you want to be at 2000' about 7-9 nm our for that approach.Suggest you try the LOC27 approach there into KSAN - much more challeging and a great site weaving through the buildings with the terrain all around you down to a displaced threshold. If you like to fly the California Area I suggest two good websites for flight planning, charts and information are the VATSIM ARTCC websites for Oakland and Los Angeles Centers:ZOA --> www.oakartcc.orgZLA --> www.laartcc.orgHope this helps - have fun.Ian Elchitz CYWG

Excellent, thank you !
