Math book fuel quantity

Featured Replies

My school math book states that the fuel tank capacity of the 767 is 80,000 litres (64,000 kg). Is there a 767 model with this specific tank capacity? The current production versions, i.e. the ER versions, all have a tank capacity of a little more than 90,000 litres.Martin767 fetishistIt's a lot like life and that's what's appealing

Martin, possibly the first version of the 767 had this fuel capacity ,prior to the ER designation, but all current versions like you said hold 90,770 litres(23,980 gal's)All model's currently are listed as extended range.

According to a book I have, the 1983 standard was around 63,000 litres if I remember correctly, and it was then upgraded to 77,000 litres.By the way, not every 767ER can hold exactly 90,770 litres. For example, one airplane might have a capacity of 90,567 litres, and another 91,400 litres.Martin767 fetishistIt's a lot like life and that's what's appealing
