Altitude Flightplanning Question KLAX-PHNL

Featured Replies

Just a quick question. What altitudes are available for a planned route KLAX-PHNL. I can't seem to find this information. Thanks in advance,LawrieLawrie MannVatsim Callsign: TELCO1

Should be at FL390. opposite way is FL410.This is according to a UA53 and UA55 flightplans I have, using b763.757 do it at FL350 to PHNL and FL370 from.Hope that helps,Ilan

From what I've seen, altitudes between the West Coast and Hawaii are the same as the normal high-altitude routes... ex. eastbound 330, 370, 410... Anyone else care to comment?Sincerely,Phil Geddes

Most (if not all) of the airspace over the Pacific, and all of Oakland oceanic airspace, is RVSM from FL290-410. If one is on R576 (West) from LAX to HNL levels available are 300, 320, 340, 360, 380, 400. East on R577 290, 310, 330, 350 etc, etc. Some tracks may have different available levels. Aircraft that are flying random tracks will fly the RVSM altitudes appropriate for the direction of flight. This routing comes from a biz jet departing Reno for Maui.
