I just started using the P&W sounds, are they accurate

Really like the sound of the P&W engines, but in the relentless pursuit for realism, are they on par with the stock PIC sound or more/less like real world ?I'd like any real pilots, ideally 767 drivers or frequent 767 travelers to verify thisThe sounds are excellent, well done to the producer of these......

Hi,Thanks for your comments. I make no claim to be an "expert" on the PW sounds. I've never had the opportunity of jumpseating on the 767 (only on the 747-400). I assembled this soundset to reproduce what I've gained from many times sitting in seat 1A on the 767 (I'm a UAL brat!), and from cockpit DVD's. I feel that there are a few main "strong points" to the sounds, and they are the following.1. The sound of the engines spooling at LOW N1 during taxi.2. The sound of the engines spooling on approach.3. The decrease of the "whine" as the "growl" becomes louder and increases pitch at high N1.4. The wind noise... louder, like it should be, especially at higher airspeeds.5. The default sound of aircon and electronics (for some reason omitted after the patch???)I'd really like some feedback from a real-world 57/67 pilot to give these sounds a try and provide some feedback! They are available in the Avsim and Flightsim forums... search "geddes".Sincerely,Phil Geddes

Hey guys,My Dad is a Captain on the 767 (200, 200ER, and 300ER) and I've shown him PIC. So far, he's pretty impressed - he says the sounds are just about bang on. I'll see if I can get him to listen to the sounds you've mentioned, but he seems to think the PIC stock ones are pretty close.BCS

the stock PIC is of GE engines though, which is what I use because I fly American :)
