December 11, 200223 yr Just want to know from u RW pilots what the procedure is if u have to land with a tailwind do u subtract the tailwind component from your approach speed??
December 11, 200223 yr Remember you've still got to fly the same speed through the air. Your aircraft is flying inside a moving parcel of air, so your airspeed would still be VREF+5....your groundspeed would be VREF+5+WC...you still have to maintain that airspeed over the wings! ;)
