RPM drop!!

Featured Replies

Just wondering if anyone has noticed or has the same problem as me. When I enter one of the FS2002 menus or PIC munus for that matter and then exit the menu the aircraft if I am flying loses RPM and decelerates for a little while and then begins to accelerate. It is like a power loss in the engines but it then recovers. It is really annoying because I often lose 200-300 ft in altitude before it wakes up.How do I stop it happening??? Your thoughtsBARGE

I have the same problem, and I agree that it is quite annoying. When i see it happening, I switch off the AT and apply full thrust, then re-engage the AT. This cuts down on the airspeed and altitude loss. However, hopefully someone will respond here with a more practical solution.

Just pause the sim whn you need to access the menu. This is the only solution I've found.Best regards,Guillaume

Or turn off the A/T while accessing the menus.Lee Hetherington (KBED)
