Featured Replies

my pic came today. i was so happy. so anyway. i was using the rudder and i had spot view and the rudder moved only alittle. is this normal or is there a switch i have to press to activate full rudder. also where are the manuals. oh ya i will change my signature after this post.Adam

also after takeoff its really hard to pitch down the aircraft.Adam

by the way all the stuff i wrote about is with Lees merge. aslo on the ground the white winglights look like they are not on the wing but above and alittle to the back. when i retract the gear the gear and the doors dont move smoothley. is this normal on a 767. also the main gear comes up before the nose gear. is this normal on a 767. and once i had no aileron control. so could anyone please help me out.Adam

I'll try to answer all of your questions here.1: The manuals are on the CD. You must manually open the CD using Windows Explorer, and open them that way.2: Don't worry about the visual model corresponding to the actual flight characteristics. If the rudder doesn't look like it is moving that much, but your instruments show full deflection, than I wouldn't worry too much. Same thing with the landing gear.3: When you are taking off, make sure you use some down elevator trim, or the nose will be hard to keep down.Glad you like PICHappy [email protected]

The floating lights are due to the POSKY "flex wing". The wings are "relaxed" on the ground and cause the strobe lights to float. The best answer is to turn them on in the air and turn them off on the ground (which is what you should be doing anyway).J

You may also want to make sure you don't have the Yaw Damper Switched on. This will surly limit the amount of movement in the rudder. The manual tells you where, and what each of the two switches do. (Page 9)Regards,Gregg Baker(AAL1220/N1220GB)

thanks for your answers

One more comment regarding takeoff trim. I find that this is the one aircraft that I have to trim down from what it loads up with. I generally (for a pretty light to moderate load) set trim between 4-5. The elevators are really effective so getting off the ground is not much of a problem. I would do some experimentation to find out what allows you to get off the ground at the correct speed and puts you ina good climb out attitude at v2+20.Jeff
