August 10, 200223 yr You might recall that in the days of FS2000, we had road networks with moving yellow dots depicting cars on the roads.Isn't it possible to change the default FS2002 roads to do something like this, or better?CheersWill
August 10, 200223 yr I'm using some 3rd party FS2K scenery with FS2002 which overlays these roads and still has moving car lights. But they are drawn from "dot to dot" in straight lines, which looks less realistic from higher altitudes.L.Adamson
August 10, 200223 yr Yea thats exactly what i was talking about.Do you know if the file with thse cars on is an r8 or BMP file, or something else?I'm just wondering if I could replace it with the default FS2002 roadsWill
August 10, 200223 yr These files are bgl. files simply placed into the add-on scenery file. I have no idea of their inter-workings. They were from Orlando Sotomayor's FS2K sceneryL.Adamson
August 10, 200223 yr HmmmmmmI wonder if its possible to create an animated BMP or r8?If so,,,,, then this could be sorted out proberly by myself personally, and i'd be able to create something quite realistic, if all this is possible. They could be used to replace ALL default roads and you'd have roads with moving cars, lit @ nightWill
August 12, 200223 yr Too bad real car models couldnt be used instead of little dots. But i imagine the framerate would suffer.... Oh well.Oh BTW,,i keep hearing of FS2004, is there any screenshots of this new MS game or is this just a dream?:D
August 12, 200223 yr FS2004There are some rumors flying around, such as only gmax files will work in FS2004. However, that's just like saying you can only paint walls using a roller and that brushes will no longer work.Too early to speculate till after CFS3 is released.
