January 25, 200323 yr I''ve just installed my 767pic on FS2002 (WINXP)with the FS2k2 patch. In autopilot flying LOC and APP modes seem to be dead. No response clicking buttons.Any help?inTaHdAvNaKnSceCpt. Ramses
January 26, 200323 yr "inTaHdAvNaKnSce"Are you pushing the buttons in the right order, Capt'n? :-hahIs the aircraft in range of the airport? (It shouldn't matter, but... this is MSFS).Can you post a screenshot of your panels, including the Nav Rad page at the moment you are having difficulties?TaH_AlNoKtSCheers.Ian.
January 26, 200323 yr My question is: can I fly without FMC, Vor to Vor or not? I'm newbie with PIC (nooooooo, reaallyy?)and I've not start yet with manuals (red cheecks):-outta fToHrAyNoKuSrAhLeOlTpCiaoRamses
January 26, 200323 yr "My question is: can I fly without FMC, Vor to Vor or not?"Not sure what happened to the other question, but....Without the FMC, you can only fly from VOR to VOR manually. This cannot be done on 767's, 777's or 747-400's (to name but a few).If you are close to the first VOR, flying to a second VOR using the FMC only requires the entry of these two VOR's on your LEGS page, an EXECute, F/D selected ON, a push of the LNAV button, then CMD. Far easier than manually dialling in frequencies, setting courses, etc on a non-glass aircraft.Cheers.Ian.
January 26, 200323 yr Ok sorry I joined my questions..... my fault..>Without the FMC, you can only fly from VOR to VOR manually.>So I can't fly without FMC, exemple: take off, catch a radial and click on "VOR" button?I understand that it's easier with fmc, but if I don't want?CiaoRamses
January 26, 200323 yr >So I can't fly without FMC, exemple: take off, catch a >radial and click on "VOR" button? Correct. The autopilot will not follow a VOR radial unless you have programmed the FMC and are using LNAV to do so. So it's either the FMC or tracking the VOR radial manually using the the EHSI VOR mode and HDG SEL.Martin767 fetishistIt's a lot like life and that's what's appealing
