Took part in the VATSIM PIC event for the first time today.Pleased to report that I made it form PHNL to KSFO successfully.ActiveSKY simulated Winds aloft for the oceanic sector were the opposite from the actual, and those on the flightplan.Meant a speed reduction from M0.82 to M0.79 to conserve fuel.Also kept suffering speed bleed offs due the ever changing winds, eventually switched the simulated winds off.Hopefully V1.2 of ActiveSky with world wide winds aloft will go into beta testing soon.Arrived in KSFO with 8600Lbs fuel remaining, after burning off 52500Lbs. Flight time was approx 5 hours.Greased the landing, my home built rudder pedals helped a good deal, and hand flew the last 1500ft of the approach.Mark
