PIC Checklists in FDC

Featured Replies

Users of Flight Deck Companion... make sure that you get the latest update (1.3.0.).It is now possible to use the checklist function for PIC.Any item in any checklist can now be used. All the relevant calls are there and it works great (Semi-Automatic Mode, only copilot voice enabled). The Checklists are called fast and efficient. You can even add more calls (Cabin-Secured etc.)The only minor thing is that for the Approach checklist in FDC use Decent Checklist, and for Final Checklist in FDC use Approach checklist.

How do you go about implementing PIC767 checklist into FDC. I have just installed the update and I can't wait to fire it all up once all the basic framing is done on my simulator.

I see now indeed that it is not so clear at all in FDC, how to start a new checklist from scratch.Actually I first downloaded and installed the pic-767fdc.zip by Lamont Duncan from the AVSIM FDC-download area, then selected that aircraft in FDC (User:767-300ER).Then go: Checklist Editor | edit | choose "Boeing 767-300" | Load Checklist. After that just select each checklist and fill in your calls then click "Next Page" and adjust the order of your calls | then click "Next Page again and make final adjustments (double click on a reply and you can change it to the excact one that you want). Then save your checklist.(This answer is also for the person who send me a private message, not revealing his email adress).
