host SB / SB host ?

Why not?We have to learn from our mistakes. What if another person does the same 'stupid thing' as you did. If he/she knew what it was maybe you could have prevented that person from doing the same mistake!George DorkofikisAthens, Greece

George,You have a point here, so I'll explain.I had to change the harddisk on the computer that takes care of the internet comms while flying on line (WideFS, SD, RW and so on). No special programs, so I thought I could download the whole lot pretty easy. All the downloads worked but one: I couldn't find the program SB Host, which I need to make SB work on a WideFS connection (still with me?)What I could find was hostsb.dll, but that's only usefull when using SB on the same machine as FS2K2.After a long search I decided to try my hand a SB without, and then I found out (while unzipping the file) that the SB Host program comes with the SB zip!Lessons to be learned:* make backups!* cument your system* stall everything you could find and then (*only then*) see what else you need* sometimes the solutions is sitting right under your eyes (as in the rest of our lives)(there are probably more lessons to be learned)Kind regards,Stephan Haashttp://vatsim.pilotmedia.fi/statusindicato...or=SVA1&a=a.jpg
