Had a surprise the other day when I was assigned a runway with a BCRS. At interception, my 767 turned in the opposite direction, away from the localiser backcourse. I checked this at other airports and it is consistent. Has anyone seen this problem with the PIC 767 and is there a solution other than to reinstall the entire aircraft? Maurice

Hi Maurice,Make sure that you are using the runway front course as your OBS and be sure you are selecting the BCRS button and not the LOC.For example runway 33 at CYHZ. The runway heading is 325 but you must set your FREQ/OBS to 109.1/145.Hope this helps.

Mike,Coincidence, I had the problem with R33 at CYHZ. Just woke up - you are right, it is my OBS that was incorrect - 109.1/325 instead of 145, and I was on BCRS. Thankyou for reminding me.Maurice
