Fuel Disagree

Featured Replies

Evening all,Currently en-route to CYYZ and have just got a message from the FMC stating Fuel Disagree Prog 2/2. According to the page the totalizer fuel is 58.5 but the calculated fuel is only 53.5. I've had a look in the manual but I can't find a solution to fix it. Can anyone help? Thanks Paul

Paul,I am not at the sim and do not have my manuals so I will just give procedure as I remember it and hope that someone pops in with a more detailed response.Go into the FMC Menu and select the PERF page. Enter 58.5 on the scratchpad and line select it to L2 (I think) which is the FUEL quantity. That will clear the FMC message for you and drop the CALCULATED entry off of PROG 2/2 page. I believe there is one more step to that which kicks the FMC back into normal CALCULATED/TOTALIZER function but can't remember off the top of my head, double selecting something else I think. Will check tonight if no one else replies.

Thanks a lot Michael, thats cured it.CheersPaul

No Problem Paul. I figured with that much fuel still on board, you had few hours left on the flight. Enjoy the ride.

Just for further reference the procedure is described on pgs 28 - 30 of the FMC manual.

Ahhh, good call Lamont, the good old delete key. I have not had to deal with that disagree problem for some time and forgot the end of the routine.Long time no fly with man, but I do see you on line fairly often. Will give you a hail next time and say hello.

Hey Mike,Same here. I know you have another humdinger group flight up your sleeve. I'll look for you online and try to hook up.
