PIC and dual monitor

Featured Replies

Hi.I have dual monitors, and thinking about using the second monitor to display the popups like FMC, overhead, and pedestal. Is it possible? I found WideView but it works with networked PCs, not just dual monitors PCs.I'm thinking about going VATSIM soon, and it would be very handly to have all those things already up :)

Preston,Don't think about it! Just do it!!I have 4 monitors (1 outside view, 1 panel, 1 for overhead & pedestal and 1 small tv for FMC) and it really makes a difference.Just undock the FMC (or one of the other pop-ups) and drag it to your second monitor. That's all.Kind regards,Stephan Haashttp://vatsim.pilotmedia.fi/statusindicato...or=SVA1&a=a.jpg

Ah! Undock. That's it! Thanks! :)

I undocked the FMC and overhead to a tv next to my computer. Now I can fly with 27" FMC next to me :)

World's Largest FMC?:-lol I have a cord that came with my computer to hook up to my TV, but only one problem...It's 6 inches long! Best Regards,Chanse Watson "CW" AAL219AvA-LAX Pilot AAL219ZLA Controller/Senior StudentVATSIM's ZLA [email protected]

Ummm.... world's largest FMC :)http://forums.avsim.com/user_files/3590.jpgNow I got to take the next step and go VATSIM... BIG step :)

What kind of cord do you have to connect? Just to make sure. And do you need some kind of an adapter?

I have a dual-monitor and TV-out video card. I just switched to TV-out for the better FMC. Just plug it in with a standard video cord.
