ok i just download it the file taximod to be able to taxi at idle spped i am going through the steps and i have one question. it says open the taximod air file with (AirED)what that please. i will let you guys know if i need any more help.Best Regards Adib Afraj

i made a mistake and opened the air file using the notepad and now all of the air files are in notepad format how can i switch them back to normal air files Thanks.Best Regards Adib Afraj

Well, Adib there is probably no harm in leaving the file association in windows to open the airfile with notepad. You probably forgot to uncheck the box "always open with this program"As far as I know there are no programs that come with windows capable of opening airfiles, other that the AirEd program that you can dowload here. http://members.dsl-only.net/~eagle/Depending what version of windows your using (in win 98 you can hold shift key down and rightclick on the airfile and the drop down menu should give you the "open with option" now just select the program youy would like windows to associate with thew airfile.In win xp the open with menu will appear when you rightclcik on the airfile, and same thing pick the file you want it to open with. There are some other links on this forum that explain how to do this MOD correctly just look for taxi mod.
