May 5, 200323 yr I have read the manual! (But it is pretty big!)Getting back into PIC and I have forgotten (read never knew) how to do the following:1) How do I ident my beacons?2) My Marker beacons flash but no audible bells3) When I was programming the FMC the other day - I noticed the initials KA (in small font) appearing in the top left hand corner. What does the KA stand for?TA in advanceSteveBAW166
May 5, 200323 yr Steve, can't remember 1&2 off hand.Think 1 is to do with installing the default 777 Audio panel.Q3 KA on the FMC means that you can use the keyboard to type into the FMC. I use the Keyboard for entering letters and numbers. Much quicker than using the mouse.
May 5, 200323 yr 1 & 2.Go the the FS2002/Flights/Other folderRight click on the "Fltsim.flt" file; choose "OPEN", then open the file using a text editor like Notepad.Scroll down to the section titled Avionics.Change the line "AudioMarkerListen=0" to "AudioMarkerListen=1"Save the file and exit. Your marker sounds will be permanently on for any aircraft you choose.3. See page 5 of the 767 PIC FMC manual.
May 5, 200323 yr Steve,Have a look at this site for the "how to" of installing the audio panel:http://home.planet.nl/~nwkaan/Kind regards,Stephan Haashttp://vatsim.pilotmedia.fi/statusindicato...or=SVA1&a=a.jpg
