Gear Wind Sound - Solution

This is aimed at those of us who find the wind noise with the gear down to be excessively loud.Change this section of the Sound Cfg file:[wind_sound]filename=wp767rminimum_volume=600maximum_volume=6000minimum_rate=0.10maximum_rate=1.00minimum_speed=10.0maximum_speed=300.0In the default the maximum volume is set to 9500. I have changed it to 6000 and noticed less wind noise with the gear down. I would like some others to test this out, and let me know if they too notice less wind noise with the gear down. Some further tweaking of the maximum volume setting may be required to achieve the optimum setting. This appears to work. However we need more people to test it out. Hopefully those with knowledge of the actual aircraft will be able to tell us if it souns better or not.DISCLAIMERRemember to make a back up copy of your original PIC Sound CFG file
