Only Apply this mod if you use KGS for PIC weight setting I have tested this and it outputs the fuel values the exact same as the original file in LBS would have that Mike developed. The only difference being the taxi fuel is now more accurate for KGS Small Tweak for those users like me who use KGS as their weight setting. Noticed that when outputting the Navlog the taxi fuel multiplied the number of minutes by the taxi fuel scalar. ie if you had 10 mins taxi fuel, fsbuild loaded 1930Kgs of fuel because the taxi fuel flow was 193 per min. I have modified all of the values in Lbs from Mikes file to read in KGs. Just paste the following over the corresponding entry in the fsb_Aircraft.cfg file.[b767-300 w/ 767PIC ADDON] -- (M.Bevington) ---WeightUnit=KGSCallSign=AMM2255PayloadWeight=21364ReserveFuel=:45AlternateFuel=HoldFuel=:15ExtraFuel=:20TaxiFuel=88/min // 32 per min at idleApproachFuel=728OperEmptyWeight=90000MaxTakeoffWeight=185455MaxZeroFuelWeight=130909MaxLandingWeight=140909MaxFuelWeight=72727PerformanceData=B763_PIC_Lbs.prfToldData=B763.tldImageFile=767pic1.jpgMaxCruise=41000ClimbFuelbias=-6.0 // change to zero or above if heavyCruiseFuelbias=-10.3 // good overall settingDescentFuelbias=0.0 // requires large change to see effect

Mark,Probably should be considered a bug, will pass it onto Ernie. Since, when you change the LBS-->KGS setting in the a/c menu it converts everything else correctly from LBS wt to KGS.You can also plug in a actual hard-coded number for your specific airport, some airlines actually flt plan using this standard method.e.g.1000 kgs for all B767 taxi fuels.1500 kgs for all B767 taxi fuels at KJFK btwn 2000-0200 Z (hvy trfc).Maybe you know from your FS parking stand at EGPF that it requires usually 1000kgs to taxi your PIC 767 out to the active rwy.You might want to just plug in the 1000 into the Taxi Fuel window.ORSome other airlines base taxi-fuels on historical avg. times during certain times of the day (nice low traffc at midnight).e.g. :15 = taxi fuel from KORD from 0200-1500z:25 = taxi from KORD from 1500-0200zYou can input a fixed fuel amount in the TAXI FUEL window or a Time Increment. FSB2 allows you either choice. Also if you leave it blank, FSB2 will check the following txt file called DepTaxiTimes.txt in the FSB folder for any historical taxi times. The data in there comes from the FAA avg. taxi time database. Sorry, no data found for similar arpts in the UK?Regards,Marc Brodbeck

Hi Marc,At work doing loadsheets, most airlines in the UK just use a standard taxi fuel value.B757 = 250 KgsB767 = 400 KgsA320 = 200 KgsB737 = 200 KgsCRJ = 100 KgsDH8D = 70 KgsI think this is to simplify the loadsheet procedures and in no way reflects the actual taxi time. Was on a 767 yesterday - GOOAN doing the weight and balance calculations. Empty 767 apart from 2 crew, 11postn crew ex transatlantic sector and 2700 Kgs of freight. Add in the 10000Kgs of fuel and had TO weight of 101000Kgs. Watched the Take Off. Rocket Ship, but not nearly as impressive as seeing an empty 757 taking off. Back to FS I found the Taxi fuel at EGPF to be about 500 Kgs.

empty B76 ferry flts, teehee, must have been fun. Here's the FAA taxi time page.http://www.bts.gov/cgi-bin/ntda/oai/Detail...stics/OAI_G1.PLInteresting, the 2 US pax carriers that I have worked at used historical taxi times. I also worked for 1 US cargo airline, they used a standard taxi-out fuel of 2000lbs for the B742 and B744F.Marc
