Hi:Just wondering how I enter nav data into the dat files. I have entered the new RNav approaches for CYVR and it looks the same as the rest of the entries in that file using note pad but the FMC does not seem to read them. What am I doing wrong and where can I find info on what program to use to edit the dat files? ThanksRegards,Ron

Why don

Hi:Thanks for the reply. I have the up to date dat files from navdat.at and that approach is not on it.Regards,Ron

Did you create your approaches in the FMC? It isn't that difficult, and it is explained in the manual. I would think that would guarantee the FMC could read them.Lee Hetherington (KBED)http://vatsim.pilotmedia.fi/statusindicato...tor=OD1&a=a.jpg

I would like to update from the good old standby 0210. how good is the latest from navdata.at Is it reliable?

You might like to use the Free PIC Editor at flightassist.tripod.com/index.htm. With it you can create or modify DPs and STARs for 767 PIC.RegardsTerry

Hi to everybody!I just downloaded the AIRAC cycle 0304,no problem while downloading it,or when installing it...But what I see,is that what I downloaded, are 5 files(WPNav Rte,WPNav Fix,WPNavApt,WPNavAID,and fmc_ident),that just can open them with the notepad. If I move them to the FMCWP/navdata folder, nothing happens into my PIC 767 fmc database...Is there any solution to that???Can I dowload it properly???
