creaping throttle in A/T mode

Featured Replies

I have noticed a new 'thing' happening with my PIC. While at the ramp, and with all engines shut...If I toggle the A/T to 'on', the throttle will creap into reverse and the spoiler leaver will deploy. I look at spot view and the reversers are opened up. What gives? I checked the yoke and re-calabrated it. all seems fine, but it only happens while in A/T 'on' mode. You can actually see the throttles creap backwards.Weird. Anybody have this problem happening?

Bill, are you saying this happens with the engines off or at idle.Mark

Bill,I do not experiance that but have had other wierd throttle symptoms that all ended up being tied to calibration, FSUIPC settings, and FS2002 sensitivity settings and assignments. Somehow, the sim sees your throttle position in reverse thrust and that has to be tied to one of the above. Do you use any of the FSUIPC throttle controls? Do you have ample null zone set?Mike

The creaping happens while the engines are off as well as on. It is not the yoke Mike. I have calabrated it and it's null zones seem fine. Where is your null zone set to and what in the FSUPIC need tweeking. All was well, this is a new bug that just showed up.

Bill,I do not use any of the FSUIPC throttle controls because they have always given me problems. As to my other settings, they would be no help to you because I use a Suncom duel throttle quadrant that was designed at least a few years ago. Do you have FSUIPC set up to engage reverse thrust?Mike
