What happened to the status indicator?

Featured Replies

Hey Guys:Maybe no one has notice but the Vatsim status indicator that many of you use isn't working. I've contacted all the Vatsim gurus and unfortunately no one has a clue.I seem to remember there was a link to one of the virtual airlines that the author was a member of but doing a search I couldn't find it.Anyone with a clue????

The original and first to make the status indicator was Mr. Shadi Abo Ahmad, (now VATIL7).His application works, and you can see the details on how to use it on his website (see my signature below).

Hi IlanDo u have to adapt the code in some way to make it work on these forums?

change the "<" to "square bracket open right" and the ">" to "square bracket open left"

Thanks Lenny!Edit: Still can't get it to work with square brackets?!

Ilan:Thanks for the heads up. It appears to me that the source we were using, vatsim.pilotmedia.if, is no longer working. Using Ilan's source works just fine.status.php?id=XXXXXX&a=a.jpgAs Ilan said you may need to use brackets instead but it works.

Hi everyone,My name is Shadi, I would be glad to help you with anything related to using my online status indicators. We could work out a special design for your indicators, like the ones you see in Ilan's signature...my email is [email protected] , and you are invited to drop me an email if you need anything.
