Cold and Dark, But Not In a Good Way

Featured Replies

Hi,Can someone please tell me if the POSKY 767ER GMax aircraft have passenger cabin lighting(at night, I mean!). I cannot get it to show in FS, although all other lighting looks fine(and I have the Hardware Lighting option set to max). Frankly, I would be amazed if this feature were not present on such a visually sophisticated airplane, especially since it seems to have all the other bells and whistles, including flexing wings(I confess I would gladly sacrifice this item to get over the problem with positioning lights on the wings). The plane feels a bit empty, somehow.I asked this question over at the POSKY forum, but received a rather non-committal answer. I'm hoping to do better here. Many thanks,Frank

Yes the Posky 767's have passenger cabin lighting as well as landing light fuselage splash and tail logo lighting. These features are all part of Posky's night textures and should be present in your Posky texture folder(s). An example would be posky_763center_t.bmp and posky_763center_l.bmp...This one being the night texture. Perhaps you are either missing those textures or your video card does not support the night lighting texturing as it's rare, but I have seen people with older graphics cards have problems with the light rendering features. As far as the wing lights go, Posky has them built into the model all be it there not as nice as the effects lighting that can be placed there, but at least they don't hang in the air when the wings are unflexed.Perhaps you can email me your aircraft cfg and I'll have a look at it for you. You could also email me your Posky texture folder and I'll take a look at it as well if you would like.Regards,Van LatendresseYeoDesigns/AFG GroupPanel/FDE [email protected]
