July 29, 200322 yr I just downloaded and installed the free version of FSBuild, FSBuild 1.4 and the upgrade to 1.43 last night. This is the first time I've used it and I think it's a great program for flight plans. I would recommend it to anyone who hasn't install it yet and is flying the B767 PIC.Once the program is setup it will export the flight plan directly into your FMCWPnavdataFlightPlans folder. If anyone has any questions just drop a POST under this Subject and I'm sure someone can help you out.http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/a...er1/fsbuild.htmHere's a short tutorial which I found helpful: http://www.tecpilot.com/users/erniealston/JGordonTut.htmThe FAA websight for Prefered Routes:http://www.fly.faa.gov/Products/Coded_Depa...s_database.htmlNote: You have to put a hyphen between each waypoint or fix in the flight plan, see example, when entering it into the FLight Plan Field of FSBuild.KATL-ATL5-SOONE-J89-OTK-LEESE1-KMCO
July 29, 200322 yr It's great to see you have discovered FSBuild. After using 1.43 for a while, seriously consider stepping up to the payware version 2.0. It has many new features including a very good autogenerator for flight plans, integrated real time winds aloft at each waypoint, and a PIC customized (by me) performance table for calculating TOC/TOD, Time, and fuel requirements. Plus, a very nice flight plan printout. 2.0 is worth the price. It looks like you have already discovered the support that Ernie provides so give it some serious thought in the months ahead.Mike
