When i shut engines off in planes after about 2 minutes all the digital displays including freq. EICAS primary display and all go black #####? nw1.gifTim Quayle Northwest Virtual Airlines et al - MSP

Its like leaving the lights on your car on over night.

Hi Tim,Easy on the ##### - not really required. You have just turned your engines - thus, you have lost power to your systems. Turn your APU on prior to turning your engines off and you will have enough power for your onboard systems.

Yes, in other words, you have run down your battery. You can fix this with Peter Dowson's FSUIPC. A new version was just announced, so what better time to get it if you don't already have it.

And if you don't have an APU, just leave one engine on at idle--------------Paul Meyerwww.KryptonAir.comwww.LAARTCC.org
