Airports.dat file needed!

Featured Replies

HiWith the latest 0308 Airac cycle, airports in the UK are still displayed about 250 miles east of their real life location so I'd appreciate it if someone (who is happy with their airports)could mail me their airports file! :-) [email protected]

I tried to send it to the address you listed but I got a delivery failure notice.Mike

Hi MikeThanks for your help. Could you either send to [email protected] or try again [email protected] thanks

I think I have a similar problem, but I could be mistaken (wouldn't be the first time!) When I select ARPT on the EHSI, All the airports are off to one side. Closer examination shows them to be mirrored to their real locations. For example, put PIC at, say EGVA (Fairford), pointing east. Heathrow (EGLL) appears (but not EGVA) and no airports appear West. Slew toward EGLL and you will see the other airports appearing, including EGVA, but mirrored to their real locations. If you plan a route, the DEP and DEST appear correctly (as part of the route), but still suffer from the same problem. It seems to be AIRAC-specific, Richard Stefan's 0301 is OK, but 0304 and 0308 suffer, yet examining the airport files seems to show no difference...Any Takers?

HiJust a thought but if you get the Jason Barlowe navdata update off of the Wilco site you can pull the airports off of that and save a lot of emailing.I know the data is old but airports should`nt have changed much since then and it was accurate when it was published.Bill
