September 10, 200322 yr What's the problem? Did you enter the course "backwards"?Details are required for a solution :-wave
September 10, 200322 yr It is kind of hard to tell what you did wrong if you don't tell us what you did!LOC works fine for me.There is no automated backcourse approach mode in this (any?) 767. Fly it by hand in VOR mode on the ND.Lee Hetherington (KBED)
September 15, 200322 yr Ahh, now we are getting somewhere. The 767 does not work in that fashion. You must program the FMC. The autopilot will track in:Lateral Navigation ModeHeading HoldHeading SelectLocalizer interceptApproach (ILS) interceptThe AP will NOT track a VOR as you are accustomed to in other aircraft.I am afraid you have some serious reading to do in the form of the FMC manual and the update manual. I will look up the links for you if required.Mike
September 15, 200322 yr That is correct. You would have to go to the FMC LEGS page:Enter the VOR identifier on the scratchpadSelect LSK 1LClean up the LEGS page by line selecting "up" the next waypoint into the created blank spaceThen Activate the changeIf you are in LNAV, the AC will turn to the new VOR in position LSK 1L.Mike
