September 29, 200322 yr G'Day all.Managed to grab a small .avi file of some St Elmo's fire on a recent trip from Sydney-HongKong. Quality is pretty poor as it was taken with a digital camera, but you get the idea!http://www.users.on.net/roope/MVI_1633.aviIts approx 5mb.And while I'm here I'll also let everyone know that after 3 years of flying the 767 I start my 744 training in November. Looking forward to it, but I'm sure I'll miss the 76!
September 29, 200322 yr You jammy individual!Who's taking you're old job on the 76 ;)?Onwards and upwards, best of luck HPSOV :)
September 30, 200322 yr Reduction in numbers transfer, looks like our (shrinking) 767 fleet will be domestic only in the future. I get to become one of those 744 guys I've whinged about so much for 3 years ;-)

Twice as many engines, twice as many switches, twice as many fuel tanks (+1 on the ER), twice as far to walk on your walkaround, almost twice as many tyres to kick... but about 10 times as many steps to climb up to the cockpit :( (at least it seems that way on some days)Anyway, hope the transition goes well.Cheers.Ian. P.S. So you'll be switching to the PS1 forum from now on? :-)

She's a beautiful machine and it'll be great to have a change of scenery.Lucky I enjoy domestic flying I guess.
