Hi, on my last few flights I have found that while the NAV1 Radio tunes to the FMC selected runway ILS freq the LOC and G/S guidance cues do not appear on the PFD and LOC or APP modes cannot be engaged. I have had to hand fly my approaches (which is good for me) but this could be a real problem if I encounter some wx minimums.Any thoughts would be appreciated.Roger Curtiss

I fixed the problem. Apparently, the sim was loading a faulty flight model. I had been loading from a saved situation file (but not using it as the default flight). But even that screwed things up so instead, I loaded another flight and then situated the plane at the proper airport and activated the PIC aircraft. Worked just fine.Roger Curtiss
