Posky 753 & PIC panel merge?

Featured Replies

Hi allI know it's maybe a little too early for that, but I was wondering if anyone is working on a FDE package to merge Posky's brand new 753 with the 767PIC panel (in FS2002 of course).CheersMiltos

You could try adding the PIC Electrical Section from the Wilco aircraft cfg to the POSKY 753 aircraft.cfg .

Hi Miltos,I was working on a merge last night, which won't be difficult as I will base it on the Posky752/PIC merge I did with a few changes where appropriate. Hopefully I will get the time to finish it up soon. I must say I was glad that Posky fixed the static wicks on the ailerons (didn't move with aileron on the the 752), but then I noticed that on the 753 the nose gear texturing is off (black on edge of rim) and the rudder static wicks now won't move with the rudder, which were fine on the 752. Both issues with the 753 I belive are model related. So basically Posky fixed one thing and now have two problems that did not exist on the 752. Hopefully Posky will fix these issues on both their 752 and 753 models in the future, however these models are stunning never the less.Regards,Van LatedresseYeoDesigns/AFG GroupPanel/FDE Designer

Hi Mark,In order for Miltos to use the Posky 753 in FS2002, he will need more then just the PIC electrical section in the aircraft cfg as Posky created the FDE specifically for FS2004 and as a result the aircraft has many problems and inaccuracies in FS2002. Posky will not support their 757 in FS2002 in any way and I've already had that dead end discussion with Warren (Posky FDE designer) several times to no avail.Regards,Van LatendresseYeoDesigns/AFG GroupPanel/FDE Designer

Hi VanI figured FS2004 FDE would never work properly in FS2002, that's why I posted this question. Glad to hear you're already working on it, I'm having a great time flying the 752 with your modified FDE. As for the issues you mentioned, these seem to be related to the model and I'm confident Posky will come up with a fix (they've been posting FDE fixes already so that's probably on their list as well).CheersMiltos

Thanks for your work on thsi Van. Keep us updated. Tried a few things with a merge myself last night and made a real mess of it :( Ben
