Sirs,If you are instructed to climb straight ahead after depature to a certain altitude before turning on track to "some waypoint" how do you program that into the FMC?Perhaps you just have to fly the departure manually then when on track tell the FMC to fly direct to the waypoint?Cheers,Paul

On the MCP have runway heading dialled in as the heading.After TO passing 400ft enagage HDG SEL Mode.Passing the ALT CONSTRAINT turn onto a HDG to intercept the Waypoint.In the FMC Legs Page Select the Waypoint you have been cleared to.Engage LNAV.Hope this helps.
