Hello everyone, are you suppose to line up slightly left or right of the runway centerline for takeoff and landing? I hear running on the centerline can cause wear on the nose wheal tires. Can someone verify this, I never seen planes try to avoid the centerline :-hmmm Thank you

Line up on the centreline, and if you hear the nosehweel hitting the lights then nudge it off to the side slightly.
