Hey guys I have a strange problem sometimes while using the PIC 767 panel. I sometimes in a flight get loads of error messages popping up saying can't load texture etc..from the scenery and the plane, even out of FS ehen i have this prob i get error messages for everything..it wont stop until i shut FS, does anybody have any idea what it may be..I have tried reinstalls with no luck!This only every happens with PIC 767 in 1 in 5 flights or so...

POSKY, with win XP, 1GB ram, 9700 pro 2.8ghz P4.

Ben,that eliminates the 2 things I thought might be causing the problem.The last time I seen these type of crashes, it was caused by a scenery error in Ian Gallagher's GLA & EDI scenery. These were resolved by installing the Gerrish Grey Tree set.Sorry I couldn't offer more help.

BenI had this problem. I fly FS2K2, with the IFDG model. I eventually nailed it to the crash that happens when you have corrupt SIDS & STARS, or, the known bug that causes a crash when the SID ot STAR contains a waypoint that is already in your flightplan.Solutions:1. Check your SIDS and STARS. Open them up in notepad, and make sure that there is a comma at the end of each line. If there isn't, put one in and save it. I found that you need to make sure that ALL the SIDS/STARS for an airport are correct. If they only appear in the list in the FMC, even if you don't select them, a crash can happen.2. Delete the first waypoint in your flightplan, if it is also the last waypoint in your SID. Ditto the STAR at the other end.All the best.Bruce.
