Since the ZFW is 245.0lbs, how many passengers and freight does this represent? Or better, what is the BOW of the PIC767? thanks, louross.

Lou,All of the following affect the APS weight of the aircraft.APS weight is the BOW + Catering and Crew Weights.Seating Layout, IFE installed, Catering Carried, Crew Compliment, Fly Away Kit Carried.The AA 767's that PIC was modelled after, have a seating capacity of 207 pax, split between F/C/Y class.In contrast BY & MYT, 2 UK charter airilines have their 767's in High Density Seating layout with 326 seats.Other Factors include the type of ULD's used by that airline, the split of pax between Males Females Children etc.

To rephrase the question:What is the BOW of the PIC 767? lr.

Lou,I was telling you what Factors affected the BOW, DOW & the ZFW.BOW is different from DOW.BOW = Basic Operating Weight = Aircraft with no crew or catering.DOW = Dry Operating Weight = Aircraft with crew and catering.BOW for a 767 is approx 86500KGS.DOW for a 767 is approx 90000KGS.You will not be able to get a specific answer for PIC as it is not modelled on any one specific aircraft.

This is usually 76KGS.BAGGAGEDomestic = 11KGSShorthaul = 13KGSLonghaul = 15KGS767 can take 7 LD8 ULD's in the AFT hold. These weigh 108KGS each.4 PMC - Pallet's can be carried in the FWD hold. These weigh 101KGS each. The FWD Hold can accomodate 8 LD8's instead of PMC's. PMC's are used for freight.An LD8 container is the width of the hold. Not sure if BA use these or the 1/2 size LD2 containers at 63KGS each or the 777/747 sized LD3 containers which weigh 72KGS.HTH
