April 12, 200422 yr Hello, why does PIC have an Aileron Trim indicator on top of the Rudder Trim indication and the real 767 does not? Also does trimming the aileron move both ailerons and the yoke? Or just the inborn ailerons and yoke? Thank you :-)
April 12, 200422 yr Perhaps because you can't see the top of the yoke in PIC???IRL, the aileron trim scale is on top of the yoke and when you apply aileron trim, the yoke moves (as if you were turning the wheel yourself). Rudder trim moves the rudder pedals.... and AFAIK, it also moves the nosewheel if the steering pin is not inserted (with hydraulics applied).More trivia.... You can toggle the aileron and rudder trim controls without hydraulics... The yoke and rudder pedals will move, but the control surfaces won't.http://members.ozemail.com.au/~b744er/767/...ontrolPanel.jpgCheers.Ian.
