June 28, 200421 yr This is the third time that happens to me..when Im on an ILS approach the frequency is set on the NAV1 radio..and nothing happens..then I tried a VOR/DME approach..and the same..never got a signal from the VOR..the ILS stuff..its the third time that happens to me..any idea?
June 28, 200421 yr Do you mean that the radios are correctly tuned and you're not getting a signal or that PIC isn't tuning in to the published freq? If it's the former, go to the airport with a default aircraft and see if that can pick up the ILS; it could be that there isn't one in the sim.Geoff
June 28, 200421 yr Geoff,Frequencies are correctly tuned..but I just dont et the ILS sometimes...on the same airport I've practiced real world ILS approaches..and I have no problem..lol...This usually happens after long flights (4-8 hrs)..any idea what can it be?
June 28, 200421 yr Yes - real world, not sim-world! Shoot an approach using one of the default aircraft and see if the ILS shows on that; from what you've said, I think the problem is the lack of an ILS, not a PIC fault (though I've been wrong before.....:))Geoff
