July 8, 200421 yr I just downloaded Tero's 757 merge and installed it with a 757. Everything works fine, except for one problem. Whenever I'm taxiing, both the ailerons and the rudder control my movement. Normally, deflecting the ailerons on the ground won't cause any side-to-side movement. However, whenever I move the ailerons, it is like I'm turning the nosewheel. The rudder still functions normally however. It makes flying quite difficult, and my plane veers from side to side on the runway because the ailerons are functioning like the nosewheel. I've tried it with both the autorudder on and off. Any suggestions?
July 8, 200421 yr Do you have the auto-coordination switch on the panel shut off? It's the right yaw damper switch, and that should be kept off at all times unless you want auto-rudder. With PIC you have to shut that one off, not just in the FS menus...Good Luck,Marc
July 9, 200421 yr Problem solved. It had been a while since I flew PIC, but I got tired of all the FS9 add-ons that can't compare, so I went back to PIC and forgot that auto-coordination detail. Thanks a lot for your help.
