August 15, 200421 yr Hi there,I had to reinstall FS2002 and 767pic recently because of a harddisk-failure. Since then I can't get rid of a low-framerate-problem! This is my setup:P4 3 GHZ, 1 GHZ dual memory, 4 monitorsRadeon 9800 pro with dual monitor (latest drivers) (directx9B)Radeon 7500 PCI with dual monitorWindows XP profHardware acceleration disabled on both secondary monitors! My problem:When running the FMC on the secondary monitor my framerates sink drastically e.g. at Chicago o'hare from at least 40 in outside view to around 20 when opening the FMC on the secondary monitor!Same frame-drop problem when opening Gaulthier Halbardier's extended HSI on a secondary monitor. In the recent past it worked very well without framedrops!!Please help,........!!Thanks,Jeroen op den AkkerThe Netherlands"767PIC forever!!"
August 19, 200421 yr Hi,Silly question perhaps but could it be that the windows that you have oppened in your second monitor could be slightly overlapping into yourprimary display monitor. If so, this could substantially reduce your framerates. The cure is simple as all you have to do is resize it so as to avoid the overlapping. Perhaps you know is already...however in case you don't it's worth a try. Good luck.
August 19, 200421 yr Thanks for your suggestion but there certainly is no overlap so that can't be the problem! Thanks anyway,.............any more suggestions outthere?Jeroen op den Akker
August 20, 200421 yr Jeroen,Just to be sure:in your bios the PCI-card is probably the primary one? (it has to be in my system)After startup make sure that the monitor on which the opening screen of FS will run is on the AGP card AND is the primary monitor (check via settings, advanced when rightclicking on the desktop). If I'm not clear, you have my e-mail and you can mail me private. We could also discuss this over phone if you wish).Kind regards,Stephan Haaswww.lemont.nl/b767flightdeckhttp://www.pic767flyingclub.com/images/sas544.jpg
