October 5, 200421 yr Because I've just downloaded the product from Wilco and have used the aircraft only briefly, I havnt had a chance to access too many airports. All I know is that there isnt any sid/star routes in the FMC data base for any Australian airports or a couple in the States that I've flown out of.Is that right? Or do I have to download them from navdata if I want them? Although I must admit I find it fun putting each waypoint in for the depature/arrival procedures. Doesnt take to much longer. I like to look at the charts anyway. Just wondering if it installed properly.
October 5, 200421 yr Hi there,as much as I remember, PIC767 had a *very* basic SID/STAR database included, but only for just some US airports.NAVDATA.AT has a huge database available for download, not only SIDs/STARs but also approach procedures etc. But be careful: those files are "manually" created and uploaded by other PIC767 users and NOT automatically compiled like Richard Stefan's basic AIRAC data (airports, navaids, airways etc.). This means that a lot of those SID/STAR procedures are outdated and have to be used with caution. So you should always crosscheck the downloaded procedures with your actual charts... ;-)Have fun!Philip
