To patch or not to patch

Hi,some questions for the developers of 767PIC V2 (or however you have to call this peace of art now).As MS patched his FS from version 9.0 to version 9.1:1. Do we need a patched FS (9.1) for the new 767 or is it also working on an unpatched one?2. Do you also change some original modules of FS (DLLs) or do you keep them alone?Background: I was shocked, when I read how many addon-developers are modifying the original FS modules. Please don't misunderstand me, I know that the FS is a "limited engine" for enthusiastic developers. But on the other hand I think that editing original DLLs is a dirty and selfish workaround.
