October 16, 200421 yr Hi,I've been flying PIC since it first came out with generally no problems. Just recently, I've encountered a very weird problem, maybe related to the FMC...but I don't know. Below is a synopsys of the problem:1) Using FSBuild 2, I planned a flight from RJOO to PHNL and exported the plan to the PIC FMC.2) I set up the flight in FS2002, program the FMC and all is well.....take off etc. The aircraft is performing beautifully as it usually does.3) The legs page show the waypoints with distance and heading in an easterly direction ie; HDG 101, 098, etc. All looks fine.4) After flying the SID out of RJOO, and reaching the first waypoint, where I should be flying a heading 101, it changes and shows me flying a heading of 179...southbound towards the waypoint which I know for a fact is east on a heading of 101. This also shows me flying a heading of 179 in the MAP dislay. Subsequent waypoints show easterly headings as they should. 5) To try and verify my direction, I planned the DANNO.BOOKE8 STAR into PHNL. So while in the air, I changed my route in the legs page to fly direct to DANNO...again knowing that it's eastbound. Again, it shows a heading of 179 to DANNO. All this time, I'm online with VATSIM, so I pull up Servinfo to see where I am on the moving map. Guess what, I'm flying east as I should be!Has anyone experienced this? I'm using the AIRAC 410 by the way. This only happened one other time, and that was flying into RJOO. At RJOO, the MAP showed a runway direction completely different then what is in FS2002. I ended up aborting an ILS landing, visually looking for the airport and doing a visual hand landing. However, taking off from RJOO at a later a few days later was fine, and everything lined up as it should. This is very strange and any suggestions as to what the problem may be would be appreciated. As I write this, I'm in the middle the the RJOO-PHNL flight, just to see how things line up at PHNL.Thanks in advance,Lawrie
October 17, 200421 yr Just to let everyone know....I fixed the problem by re-installing the FS2002 patch. Don't know why it went wanky.Lawrie
