Hardware configuration for running 767 v2

Featured Replies

Hy to all,I have opportunity to upgrade my PC configuration hardware; so i ask to beta tester/developer if is possible known your configuration hardware for make a right choice. My intention is running 767 v2 using FS to med-high setting mainly in 2D visual.RegardsValerio

The "Early" beta version of LDS767 I played with at the Avsim Conference in Denver, back in September was on a Basic, Rental, PC that Flight One got there in Denverto show off their ATR, 727, and the LDS767 on. I believe it was just a 2800+ AMD with 512Meg and a on-board graphic card with shared video ram. I pulled up the fps with the 2D cockpit and saw about 25FPS with MSFS set to Lock25Fps. Maybe the guy's from the Charity Flight can give you some better answers, as I am sure there's was a later beta and I believe more than one of them are "Official" beta tester.Steve Park

Since you are planning to run in 2D most of the time you will have no problems. The VC refresh rate is something Microsoft will have to look into for the next sim. With that said, personally on P4 2.66, 1.5 gig ram... no problems with visuals

When you say 'no problems with visuals' can we take that to mean that the Airplane is quite useable/flyable (if not silky smooth) from the VC on such a system? As a newbie on this forum I'm reluctant to labour the point, but as a dedicated VC flyer the true merit of the add-on will be how well it copes in this respect. Looking forward to release!Mark

Thanks for your replay.....Now i have the idea more clear!regardsValerio

Yes on a system like Bill's it is very usable from the VC, but that all depends on how you have the sliders set..

just wondering if my specs would be ok for 2d and or VCthanks

Anthony, you rig will run it well! :) No worries there. :) Same type of Rig I use to have, and as long as you don't have all the sliders maxed your going to fine with that.

good to hear! oooow i wish it was next week:-halo
