February 16, 200521 yr Hi there,I've created a flightplan for all of you who are interested in flying a simulated delivery flight for British Airways from Everett, Payne Field (where the 767 is produced) to EGLL, London Heathrow (where the BA 767 fleet is based). Obviously we don't have weight data for accurate fuel burn as yet but the actual route is acceptable. The route itself is North-east over Washington state and into Canada, continuing over Canada, Greenland and Iceland to Stornoway in Northern Scotland. From Stornoway we route on UN615 to HON (Honiley) VOR near Manchester, where we will commence the BNN3A arrival into London Heathrow. No need to worry about NAT tracks as the route is to the North of the NAT system. Flight time with no wind (highly unlikely) is 9 hrs 25 minutes. You should have a fairly strong tailwind so this would be a maximum figure. Here is the plan:KPAE YDC 53N16 YZU 57N10 61N04 6496N 6786N YUX 6968N 6953N 6838N 6626N AKI 6110NATSIX UP60 AKIVO UN601 STN UN615 HON BNN3A EGLL
February 17, 200521 yr Excellent Ross thank you very much.Just out of interest how did you create this plan? Based on a similar real life plan? Or just using a flight planner? Or even manually?!Whichever way its very much appreciated.
